needful unhelpful things

“If anyone has information that a particular minister or deputy minister has accumulated more wealth than what has been declared, they can contact the ACA – by post, telephone or e-mail (www.bpr.gov.my),” he added.

Any information? Really?

I'm a bit skeptic (in this overall practice of supposed ketelusan), for whatever reasons. Macam mana nak tau pasal harta orang lain? and would the ACA really entertain every single report? Because I heard and/or read somewhere before that it is really hard to convict someone of corruption charges, never mind if that particular someone is a Big G Big Shot.

(non)sense and (non)sensibility

On sports:-

I am crazy about sports. I played lots and achieved quite a bit. Whenever sports people gets to a higher level, there'll usually be a selection process, where players from various different teams will be selected to form one (hopefully) stronger team based on the coach's judgment. Some teams might be blessed with lots of talented players and hence form the bulk of the stronger team. But the skipper can be a player from ANY team, even one with only ONE player in the stronger (to-be-formed) team.

Now, on politics:-

...

Ah, Lim Kit Siang!

...

I honestly hate it when people say that you should vote for a certain party or a certain someone because if not, then you're not berterima kasih. I say bull. We paid tax money, and all the other monies from toll etc, we vote for these people to represent us, we respected them with so many titles, we worry that we're not good enough for them whenever we call them over to our ceremonies, we fund their house(s) and car(s). We gave them our trust and hope. And when we don't vote for them, we're the ones not berterima kasih? Even when they don't perform? Wow.

I thought it should be the other way around. I thought it's the politicians who should berterima kasih to the rakyat for voting them. But no, to the politicians, we, the rakyat, are nothing. This is just a game for them. I win, so I can do whatever I want. Do it my way.

I thought only politicians from you-know-what party are this besar kepala. Now I guess we can conclude that it comes with the profession.

I thought too much. And I thought wrong
