sense of security
Post the RM2 mil robbery, security in UM have been quite a nuisance. Only the KL gate open for 24 hours, which is highly very inconvenient for people doing research (and we have lots of them in UM, obviously). The other gates open periodically, with the Damansara and Intan gates open at peak hours only. To think that UM actually have nothing to do with the robbery, aside from being the location where it took place. I mean, why all this tight security all of a sudden? Even lecturers; those with silver car stickers are stopped at the gates and questioned, should they enter the varsity after midnight. Tutors with brown (motorcycle) stickers aren't excluded, of course. I wonder where on my bike can I hide 2 million bucks should I steal it. What next? Shotguns for the guards? ..here's to all that complained to the media that UM's security was lousy; FUCK YOU. Next time you decide to say something, please make sure that your brain is attached.
